Located in the extreme south of the American continent, Patagonia gathers diverse natural conditions and desirable characteristics for the cultivation of vineyards. Pure air, diaphanous skies and infinite silences, are only interrupted by the whispers of the winds that cross it from the Andes mountain range to the Atlantic Ocean, transferring the mysterious fragance of the bushes and wild fruits.

I am Ernesto Carlos Vela, born in San Juan, Argentina. My family is of Spanish and Italian origin, with a long wine tradition. My father, of Spanish descent, introduced me to vineyard labor and wine making when I was very young. He also worked, selling wines on the Argentine domestic market for a long time. In order to obtain good wines, I have learned that the process begins in the vineyard. It must be formed and watched out along its development until it produces good bunches of grapes. These must be cared for one by one until they are ripe for the wine making process. This is the key to elaborate a good wine. During my several trips to Japan, I have noticed that there are not enough good Argentine wines on the market. Besides, I have also noted that the Japanese always choose excellent wines. For that reason, I have decided to work on the importation of good wines from my country, Argentine. I am fully convinced that our unique wines will make the difference at your table. Sincerely, Ernesto.
The wines at the Wine Tokyo 2019 are all Reserve type, aged in American and French oak.
